★ Write-In Candidate ★

Ryan Lee for Commissioner

Costilla County • District 2 • Colorado

Honest books. Real budgets. Accountable government — for every resident in District 2.

Meet Ryan Lee

Ryan Lee, candidate for Costilla County Commissioner District 2

A Louisiana native who chose Costilla County as home.

Ryan brings Louisiana warmth and a lot of grit to Colorado's San Luis Valley. He spent 12 years as a project manager in oil and gas — running budgets from $75M to $500M for Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Freeport-McMoRan — before putting down roots in Costilla County and seeing firsthand the challenges and the promise of District 2.

He's running as a write-in candidate because he believes residents deserve a commissioner who shows up, listens, and gets things done — not someone who waits for the next election to start paying attention. He read the county budget. He couldn't unknow it.

When he's not working for the community, you'll find Ryan with his partner Hannah, building a life in the San Luis Valley.

What I'll Fight For

🚜

Roads & Infrastructure

Keep our county roads maintained and our water and infrastructure dollars spent wisely and transparently.

💧

Water & Land Rights

Protect the water and land rights that families and ranchers in the San Luis Valley depend on.

💵

Responsible Budgeting

Real budgets. Real appropriations. No phantom revenue, no zero-dollar departments. Every taxpayer dollar accounted for — publicly, every month.

🤝

Open & Accessible

A commissioner who returns calls, holds real town halls, and makes county decisions in the open — not behind closed doors.

🌾

Local Economy & Jobs

Support small businesses, agriculture, and the next generation so people can build a life here — and stay.

🛡️

Safe Communities

Back our first responders and work toward safe, healthy neighborhoods across District 2.

“I didn't run because I wanted power. I ran because I read the budget.”

— Ryan Lee
